University of Texas apologizes for ‘pubic affairs’ disaster

Diplomas revoked. Whoever made the commencement programs for the graduation ceremony at Lyndon B. Johnson School of Pubic Public Affairs left out a much-needed letter. On the plus side, the “eggregious” typo—which the school has apologized for—provided us with some much-needed laughter.

Typos aren’t the only things that plague our writing. Reports The New York Times, knowing when to use a comma, and when not to, can also prove problematic.
