Twitch and Blizzard Entertainment earn kudos for Twitter banter
The organizations’ social media teams joked with each other online, and their followers approved the wit. Marketers might want to take a page from the engagement playbook.
Twitch, the live-streaming service for video gaming enthusiast, and video-game maker Blizzard Entertainment recently treated their Twitter fans to a jovial back and forth in a move that points to what has become a new era in online brand responses.
The GIF-heavy exchange started when Blizzard tweeted about a live event slated for next week to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
