In the midst of the holidays, people are feeling the charitable spirit, especially in the Internet mecca of Silicon Valley, where tech titans such as the first couple of Netscape care more about philanthropy than they do not being able to find a WiFi signal.
Perhaps someone in Silicon Valley will be struck with enough holiday cheer to fork over some of that entrepreneurial startup cash to take care of our paywall fees … well, at least for the homeless.
Seems pets are bringing holiday cheer—at least that’s the impression we get based on this infographic from Frugal Dad, which claims animal owners will spend $19.5 billion on food for their precious Poopsies this year—two times the National School Lunch Budget—and $25.5 billion in vet care and supplies, more than we’ll spend on vitamins and gym memberships for ourselves.
