The 10 most-followed thought leaders on LinkedIn
President Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney are on the list—but neither of them are No. 1. Care to guess who is?
In an Oct. 2 blog post, LinkedIn unveiled the new feature, in which its users can follow other members—at the time it was 150 pre-ordained thought leaders—in much the same way one might follow a person’s tweets. Since the initial launch, LinkedIn has set about expanding its network of thought leaders.

On Thursday, the professional network rolled out a list of its most-followed thought leaders. Here are the top 10, according to their number of followers on LinkedIn:
1. Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group – 766,830 followers
2. Barack Obama, president of the United States – 391,403 followers
3. Deepak Chopra, founder at Deepak Chopra, LLC – 196,508 followers
4. Mitt Romney, Republican presidential nominee – 157,310 followers
