Sabra warns customers of Listeria threat
Crisis managers are on high alert after traces of the bacteria were found in a manufacturing facility. Here’s how reps reacted.
Another Listeria scare has hit a major brand—Sabra.
The popular hummus manufacturer is telling customers to toss any of its products with a best-before date through Jan. 23, 2017. A random test found the presence of Listeria in the brand’s manufacturing facility, but not in any of its products.
Sabra reps said that customers can ask for a refund if they return the product to stores.

A Sabra press release said that the company’s voluntary recall was issued “out of an abundance of caution.”
