Just ask the folks at In-N-Out burger, the Southern California staple that recently opened its first Lone Star State franchise, in Frisco, Texas. Check out this lead from a Dallas Magazine food blog: “Some say the burgers are heaven. Others compare the cheesy, greasy patties to God Himself.” The blog was published in time for the Wednesday opening, which attracted long lines (80 cars long, by some accounts), a media hoopla and, yes, a few devotees who camped out overnight to be among the first customers. “Food is one of life's little pleasures,” store manager Scott Bayliss humbly told the Dallas Morning News. “We offer a burger, fries, a drink. But it's more than that.” Check out the video for the opening. Now that’s great PR—animal style.
