‘Other woman’ in Petraeus mess hires crisis comms firm
Jill Kelley, whose actions helped reveal the extra-marital affair that led to the resignation of CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, issued a statement through the firm.
Jill Kelley, known as the “other woman” in the affair, is working with Washington, D.C.-based Smith & Company, according to the Economic Policy Journal. Smith & Company, which describes itself as “best known for our high profile engagements,” has worked with Monica Lewinsky and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On Sunday, Kelley issued the following statement through the firm:
“We and our family have been friends with Gen. Petraeus and his family for over five years. We respect his and his family’s privacy and want the same for us and our three children.”
