Is BP tweeting disingenuously?

Guardian journalist Alex Hannaford wrote an interesting piece about the oil company’s approach to sharing information about the recovery from the spill. Essentially, BP is offering facts, but it’s not providing the full context for the information. And BP’s been called out on it—by the scientists whose evidence it is using.

For instance, the company’s @BP_America Twitter feed said: “New study finds methane bacteria has eaten all the methane from the oil spill earlier than expected.”
