Instagram edits ‘liking’ and commenting features
Tired of tracking interaction on certain posts? Now, users can turn off their comments entirely. Here’s how, along with an improved functionality for ‘likes’ and blocking.
Instagram is increasing its effort to make the platform a safe space devoid of the negativity and harassment that exist elsewhere online.
The Facebook-owned visual sharing app’s reps announced they would offer users the ability to turn off comments on their posts. Users just have to tap on the Advanced Settings” tab and select “Turn off Commenting.” Users can also turn them back on.
Instagram is also joining its parent company in allowing users to like specific comments as well as the photos and videos themselves.
