In Chicago, Rahm Emanuel considers trimming PR staff
A report details the mayor’s audit of communications staff at City Hall.
This small army consisted of nearly 50 employees who worked in some PR capacity in City Hall and other agencies, according to Mihalopoulos.
Emanuel, however, is trimming the city’s budget—he’s already cut some PR staff—and this week plans to audit City Hall’s communications efforts. Emanuel’s cabinet members and the heads of sister agencies are asked to fill out a questionnaire on the matter.
