How BoardroomPR’s Todd Templin gets through his day
Don’t tell this PR pro that a robot will take his job. He still sees person-to-person relationships as the bedrock of the industry.
Technology is a bigger and bigger part of the communications job.
However, as long as your audience is made up of people, the job will require the ability to make connections.
Todd Templin, executive vice president and principal for BoardroomPR, shares how he sees his responsibilities as a communicator.
Here’s what he had to say:
1. What time do you wake up?
Usually about 6:30 a.m. each day.
2. How many cups of coffee do you drink a day?
Way too many! Probably six to seven, but I am trying to cut back (or at least working decaffeinated into my lineup).
3. Who is the most important person at work you talk to during your day?
My clients. They are my No. 1 priority in any given day. They are the reason we come to work each day and do what we do.
