Meet Internal Communications Professional, Marcy Marshall

Marcy Marshall, director of employee communications for Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa., relaunched employee comms in 2013. She rolled out OurGeisingerExchange, a new intranet, and began “a cultural shift, and enhanced employee engagement.” Marshall also “built a new bridge” between HR and her PR/Employee Comms department. Gains include custom messaging from HR, IT, Health Services, and Payroll; more trust between HR and PR/Corp Comms; and timely answers to employee comments on the new intranet.
