One could disagree with two things in this report.
One is that the winners will be announced in April. In truth, each of these named firms is a winner already because in selecting crisis communication experts, many who select will favor one of these named firms. Winning a PR Daily honorable mention is like winning—and deservedly—money.
You could also disagree with the idea that those chosen were instrumental in mitigating damage.
Crisis experts do even better than that. It’s because crisis creates opportunity to get media coverage for the good side, how the organization has been having a POSITIVE effect on the public interest by protecting public safety, economy and fairness.
A great crisis PR team can help a client to not just come out of it okay but with even higher public esteem than before the trouble.
