Among PR Daily readers, 71 percent read the newspaper—in print
And most of them do so daily. Does that surprise you?
According the poll, 34 percent of respondents said they read the newspaper in print every day, followed by 21 percent who said occasionally (two to three times per week), 16 percent indicating weekends only, and 8 percent who said “other.”
Sven Gustafson, a communications specialist at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, said he finds the print newspaper “much more satisfying than reading off a computer screen,” noting that in print he “gets a lot more [to] read.”
Another respondent, Jasper Jansen, a senior account executive at Hill & Knowlton Amsterdam, said he reads the newspaper in print “every day, in the train on my way to work.”
