Americans will spend $17 billion on Easter this year
That’s actually down from last year.
According to the National Retail Federation’s annual Easter Spending Survey, the average American adult will spend approximately $145.13 on candy, décor, apparel, and food this year. Total spending will reach about $17.2 billion, the study found. The bulk of that money will go towards a family brunch or dinner.
The NRF noted that spending is flat compared with last year, when the average person forked over $145.28 for Easter.
