Acura apologizes for casting ‘not too dark’ actor in commercial
On Facebook, people have called the automaker’s actions deplorable and disgraceful. An Acura spokesperson cast the blame onto a casting agency.
TMZ.com broke the story on Wednesday, when it published the casting document from January of this year.
People took to Acura’s Facebook page to slam the automaker, with commenters calling the company a disgrace, disgusting, and deplorable (and more).
Acura issued an apology, which it shared via Twitter:
“We apologize to anyone offended by the language on the casting sheet used in the selection of actors for one of our commercials.
