Meet Corporate Social Responsibility Leader, Melanie King

As director of corporate communications and community outreach for National DCP, Melanie King is in a unique position to connect corporate social responsibility with business goals. King led the development of Community Connexions, a program to improve the quality of life of the company’s workforce, the community and society at large. The program includes time off from work for employees to volunteer, which she promotes by sharing testimonials of employees who have participated in the program, adoption of which increased 5% in the past year with 165 hours donated.
