Top 5 ‘Dumb Tweets @ Brands’
A new Tumblr account is chronicling the angry, inane, funny, and sometimes insane things consumers tweet at brands.
Maybe something like:
• “Three-toed aliens are going to enslave the human race and you’re helping them. Stop it, or I’ll sue.”
• “The world is going to end on May 21 October 21. Repent!” (Wait a second …)
Thanks to social media, these insane letters are now tweets directed (with an @ reply) at brands, which are visible to the public.
For everyone’s enjoyment, a Tumblr user is compiling those tweets on a page called: “Dumb Tweets @ Brands.” The tagline: “Unmeaningful Customer Engagement.”
