Kraft-owned Cadbury faces potential boycott after comparing Naomi Campbell to a chocolate bar. Ads for Cadbury’s Bliss chocolate bar say, “Move over Naomi, there’s a new diva in town.” Naomi Campbell—the “Naomi in the slogan”—claims the ad is racist. “It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me but for all black women and black people,” she said. The U.K.-based group Operation Black Vote has called for Kraft to apologize or face a boycott in Great Britain, reports The Independent. Kraft said it has removed billboards featuring the slogan, adding, “It was certainly never our intention to cause any offence and the campaign itself is a light-hearted take on the social pretensions of Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss.” Campbell is known for her fiery temper.
