Montreal business school in hot water after white students don black face-paint
The students were supposed to dress up like Jamaicans—and so they took this route, which included chanting, ‘Smoke more weed.’ Classy.
CBC reports that the event, organized by the sports and leisure committee at the university’s Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) business school, was part of its annual athletic week.
“The theme of this year’s event was the Olympic Games and groups of first year students were each assigned a costume based on the first letter of their group … The group in question was assigned track and field.”
