Report: The 10 brands that could vanish this year
The website 24/7 Wall St. released its annual list of brands that could disappear. The Oakland Raiders, Salon.com, and American Airlines made the dubious list.
No. 1 on this year’s list, which was released on Thursday, is American Airlines; 24/7 Wall St. claims US Airways will buy the air carrier. We’ll see. The website has been beating the drum about American for the past year. In June 2011, it said the airline would vanish by 2012.
Either way, here are 10 brands the 24/7 Wall St. claims will no longer exist in 2013:
10. Avon
9. MetroPCS
8. The Oakland Raiders
7. Salon.com 6. Suzuki
5. Pacific Sunwear
4. Research in Motion
3. Current TV
2. Talbots
1. American Airlines
