AMC Theatres burns Oreo on Twitter
The theater chain takes issue with a tweet from the cookie maker.
Tweets such as “Sorry. Thank you for letting us know.” are among the most common (as well as messages promoting movies coming to AMC screens).
This week, however, @AMCTheatre had some fun.
The @Oreo account on Monday posed this question to its followers: “Ever bring your own Oreo cookies to the movie theater? #slicksnacker”
Which drew this reply from @AMCTheatres: “NOT COOL, COOKIE.”
Bazinga!
The three-word message was retweeted more than 500 times and received glowing replies, such as “I love you.”
