Would you rather … scrub a toilet or think of a new password?
A shocking amount of people would opt for the toilet, according to a new survey.
That’s the central finding of a recent survey from Janrain, a company that helps companies—wouldn’t you know it—create social logins. Janrain found a staggering 86 percent of Web users may leave a site when prompted to create an account.
According to the study, 42 percent of people find registration forms too long and 50 percent don’t want to create yet another password, as 60 percent of people have more than five unique passwords to remember when it comes to their online life.
An astonishing two in five people said scrubbing a toilet would be better than thinking of a new password.
