Study: Content marketing plans more effective when written
New research from the Content Marketing Institute found that the simple act of putting content marketing strategies on paper can benefit organizations.
Is your organization’s content marketing strategy written down in a document, or is it just something upon which people have verbally agreed?
That may not seem like a big distinction, but according to a new study of business-to-business content marketing from the Content Marketing Institute, it has a huge impact. It’s crucial for organizations to follow the strategy, too.
Of survey respondents who said their strategy is documented, 60 percent rate their content marketing as highly effective. Of the respondents that didn’t have codified strategies, only 32 percent said the same.
