7 tips to improve your LinkedIn exposure
Anyone, anywhere can self-publish on the popular networking site. One communications manager advises abiding by these rules to ensure your post doesn’t fall flat.

Why blame them? It’s straight-forward to use and shares your content over the world.
The downside sinks in when you consider how to maximize your reach. To strengthen your post and set it apart from the crowd, scan these 7 tips:
1. Write a compelling headline
Use your post’s introduction to excite and entice readers. Tease them with what might be gained by reading your content. Be realistic, though. Don’t exaggerate or over-promise.
2. Spread wisdom with relevant quotes
Quotes from historical figures or influential leaders give your post a deeper wisdom. To pull your quote apart from the story, use the inverted commas button provided in the LinkedIn CMS toolbar:

3. Share constantly.
The second you hit “publish” you have a short window of time to garner attention. If your content gets clicks, LinkedIn’s editors could feature your post on Pulse, which gives you tremendous exposure and constitutes a social media honor.
