A communicator’s job can be stressful.
Pitching media contacts, crafting the perfect blog post and following through on client requests—among other draining tasks—allow little time for PR pros to catch their breath.
Aug. 15 is National Relaxation Day, so we’re offering a few ways to help communicators grab moments of serenity during their grueling work days.
Consider these tactics for keeping your mind fresh, clear and at ease:
1. Stay organized.
This is essential for maintaining sanity—and productivity.
Communicators face an influx of daily activities and deadlines to meet, so having everything in its place and an awareness of important events is crucial for stress relief.
Even little things such as ensuring your desk is free of clutter, keeping a calendar of meetings and deadlines, and making a checklist of daily tasks can help you stay calm and keep your mind at ease.
2. Practice desk yoga.
