134-character job listing inspires PR Daily challenge
Writers might wince at the idea of an editor’s winnowing their prose to a tweet’s length. We’re embracing it, and we defy you to do the same.
The Wisconsin Law Journal is seeking a full-time reporter. Rather than wax poetic about all the qualities that person must have, it summed up the job in a meager 134 characters on JournalismJobs.com. The description reads:
“If you’re a reporter who asks ‘Why?’ more often than a 5-year-old, get in touch with me right away at caley.clinton@wislawjournal.com.”
That’s tweet length, with a half-dozen characters to spare.
